SAT/ACT mins:

For WV Residents:  ACT 19/SAT critical reading & math sections only 910.

For Non-Residents:  ACT 21/SAT critical reading & math sections only 990

Some majors require higher scores.

SAT or ACT Scores must not be more than:  No Limit.  For students who have been out of High School for more than 5 years they are not required for admissions.

LSP Application deadline: For Fall enrollment July 1st , for Spring Enrollment November 1st.

Freshmen class report date:  Typically the 3rd Friday of August is the move in date for Freshman Class. 

Yellow Ribbon participant: Yes.

Will you cover difference between tuition minus GI Bill and cost of in state "state" school tuition? Or do you want to keep it to in-state residents? We will waive 50% of the difference between in state and out of state tuition.  For students who get 100% benefits from the post 9-11 GI Bill the VA will pick up the other 50%.

Do you want to donate additional money to each applicant should the need arise?   All aid packages are determined by our Financial Aid Office.

Processing fees: Application fees are waived for all veterans.  Please contact the LSP for fee waiver code.

All majors open to Marines? Yes.

Recognize AA degree or any college course work: We will not recognize AA degrees but will transfer in credits earned from any regionally accredited institution.

Recognize awarding of college credits via alternative means, e.g., DANTES or CLEP: WVU recognizes credits earned from both DANTES and CLEP.
