SAT/ACT mins: We do a comprehensive review for all applicants to include GPA, ACT/SAT, applicant statements, and work experience.  Our common profile of admitted applicants is around an ACT of 22 and GPA of 3.2.  No ACT/SAT is required for applicants over the age of 21. 

SAT or ACT Scores must not be more than:  No time limit.

LSP Application deadline: Fall admissions priority deadline is April 1st; spring priority deadline is November 1st.  

Where to find application: Application must be submitted online at www.apply.wisconsin.edu.   Fee can also be paid online or mailed to Admissions.  Official transcripts must be provided in a sealed envelope to the Admissions office.

Freshmen class report date: Early September.

Yellow Ribbon participant: Yes.  Yellow Ribbon Program applications must be turned in to the Veteran Benefits Coordinator.  Limited spots are available and not guaranteed upon admission. The Yellow Ribbon Program is for undergraduate study only.

Will you cover difference between tuition minus GI Bill and cost of in state "state" school tuition? Or do you want to keep it to in-state residents? We do not limit to in-state residents only.  The cost difference is not covered by our institution.

Do you want to donate additional money to each applicant should the need arise?   No.

Processing fees: $44.

All majors open to Marines? Yes.

Recognize AA degree or any college course work: Yes.  We complete a course-by-course evaluation.  Many associate degrees waive all general education courses on our campus.   Waivers would not be granted for “applied” associate degrees.

Recognize awarding of college credits via alternative means, e.g., DANTES or CLEP: Yes, we evaluate on a subject basis.  There is a list on our Testing Office website of those we accept.

Additional information: A SMART transcript is not required; however, additional college credits could be awarded upon receipt of this document.
