Will you cover difference between tuition minus GI Bill and cost of in state "state" school tuition? Or do you want to keep it to in-state residents? Funds are not currently available to cover any such cost gap. However, UWM staff will assist students in obtaining the maximum military educational benefits for which they are eligible from Federal and/or State sources. This includes the application of special statutory provisions enabling some active duty service members and veterans to qualify for in-state tuition.
Do you want to donate additional money to each applicant should the need arise? Funds are not currently available for this.

Recognize AA degree or any college course work: Transfer course work must be from an accredited institution and is generally reviewed on a course by course equivalency basis. There are a number of articulation agreements, some program-specific, that award a lump sum of credits from an associate degree.
Recognize awarding of college credits via alternative means, e.g., DANTES or CLEP: Credit is awarded for most AP, IB and CLEP courses, assuming required scores are achieved. At present, only a limited number of credits are awarded for military training, although this may be expanded in the future.
