Will you cover difference between tuition minus GI Bill and cost of in state "state" school tuition? Or do you want to keep it to in-state residents? Veterans, active duty personnel, and dependents, who receive educational benefits under CH30 or CH33 Post 9/11 and live in the state may be eligible for instate residency as well.

Online or distance education classes do not charge a different rate for non-residents.

Do you want to donate additional money to each applicant should the need arise?  No.

All majors open to Marines? Yes.

Recognize AA degree or any college course work: Yes, but each class is evaluated on a case-by-case.

Recognize awarding of college credits via alternative means, e.g., DANTES or CLEP:  We will award, case by case, on DANTES, CLEP, AP, Military Experience (Form DD 214), Military Experience (ACE Transcripts – AARTS, SMART, CCAF).  See reference:

General Requirements


  • Achieve an ACT composite score of 21 or above (SAT 990) 
  • Earn a grade point average of at least 2.6 (4.0 scale) in all high school courses
  • Rank in the upper 50% of your high school graduating class

High School Coursework Requirements


  • 4 years of English
    OR ACT English sub-test score of 21 or above OR AP English score of 3 or above

  • 3 years of Advanced Mathematics
    OR ACT Math sub-test score of 23 or above OR AP Calculus score of 3 or above

  • 3 years of Laboratory Science
    OR ACT Science Reasoning sub-test score of 20 or above OR AP Science score of 3 or above

  • 3 years of Social Science
    OR ACT Social Studies/Reading sub-test score of 20 or above OR AP Social Studies score of 3 or above

  • 1 year Fine Arts
    OR AP Fine Arts score of 3 or above
