Will you cover difference between tuition minus GI Bill and cost of in state "state" school tuition? Or do you want to keep it to in-state residents? After August 1, 2011 charges reported to the VA for payment through Post 9/11 GI Bill will change to be the actual net cost for in-state tuition and fees.
An Important Change from the Improvements Act of 2010
The actual net cost for in-state tuition and fees assessed by the institution for the program of education after the application of any waiver of, or reduction in, tuition and fees; and any scholarship, or other Federal, State, institutional, or employer-based aid or assistance (excluding loans and title IV funds) that is provided directly to the institution and specifically designated for the sole purpose of defraying tuition and fees.
For students receiving Chapter 33 Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits at the 100% eligibility rate, the VA will pay for all in-state mandatory tuition and fees. If the student has 90%, 80%, 70%, etc… eligibility, the VA will pay that percentage of tuition and fees. Non-resident students will be responsible for all out-of state tuition, unless they qualify for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Below are the qualifications for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Please note College of Continuing Education, Advanced Programs, and Liberal Studies are not covered under our Main Campus Yellow Ribbon Program.
a. Students must have Chapter 33 Post 9/11 100% eligibility (not serving active duty and not a spouse of a service man or woman serving active duty)
b. Students must be a non-resident student admitted to an OU Norman campus degree program for Fall 2011 or before
c. Students must be enrolled for the Fall 2011 term

Do you want to donate additional money to each applicant should the need arise? No.
Processing fees: $40.00.
All majors open to Marines? Yes.
Recognize AA degree or any college course work: Coursework completed at an accredited institution will transfer to OU for admissions purposes, however, students should check with their degree-recommending college for applicability to their degree program. AA degrees are accepted from Oklahoma schools within the state system articulation agreement under OSRHE policy.
Recognize awarding of college credits via alternative means, e.g., DANTES or CLEP: Yes, we do award credit for Dantes and CLEP Subject Exams (we do not award credit for CLEP general exams) recommended by the ACE guide.
