SAT/ACT mins: If the student has a grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale as calculated by the university, there currently is no minimum. The test, however, must be taken. The University of North Florida does not admit students who demonstrate a need for remediation. The State of Florida sets the following minimum standardized test minimums as the threshold for not requiring remediation:
SAT- CR= 440 M = 440
ACT- E=17 R = 18 M = 19
If the student has a 2.5 – 2.99 grade point average on a 4.0 scale as calculated by the university, he/she must meet the minimums in each of the three areas:
- SAT-Critical Reading ≥460 or ACT – Reading ≥19;
- SAT-Mathematics≥460 or Act-Mathematics≥19; and
- SAT-Writing≥440 or ACT-Combined English/Writing ≥18.
SAT or ACT Scores must not be more than: N/A.

Will you cover difference between tuition minus GI Bill and cost of in state "state" school tuition? Or do you want to keep it to in-state residents? We would only accept in-state students.
Do you want to donate additional money to each applicant should the need arise? Additional money would only be the result of the student’s eligibility for financial aid similar to other students.
Processing fees: $30 application fee.
All majors open to Marines? It may depend upon whether or not if the Marine meets common prerequisites for the degree program and/or, if applicable, other requirements for special limited access programs. Recognize AA degree or any college course work: An Associate of Arts degree from a Florida College System institution will be accepted in accordance with the Statewide Articulation Agreement.

Additional information: First-Time-In-College Student (Less than 12 semester hours of college credit after high school graduation)
Completion of a standard high school diploma or equivalent with successful completion of coursework including at least 18 credits of college preparatory courses comparable to courses designated
- as core for admission purposes in the Counseling for Future Education Handbook found at the State University System section. The courses are found in the section designating high school courses that satisfy course distribution requirements for SUS admissions section on page 145 in the document located at the following Web site:
Course requirements include 4 credits of English/Language Arts with composition, 4 credits of mathematics (Algebra I and higher), 3 credits of social science, 3 credits of natural science (at least 2 with laboratory work), 2 credits of foreign language in the same language (or demonstrated competency at the second level), and two electives. One credit equals one year of high school work.
Limited exceptions may be made for applicants not taking two years of high school or college credit in foreign language.
