Where to find application: The University of Miami is an exclusive user of the Common Application, www.commonapp.org, and applicants should submit the electronic Common Application.

Will you cover difference between tuition minus GI Bill and cost of in state "state" school tuition? Or do you want to keep it to in-state residents? University of Miami is a private university and does not have different costs for residents vs. non-residents.  All students are charged the same tuition rate.

Do you want to donate additional money to each applicant should the need arise?   No, however all applicants may be considered for merit scholarships based on academic achievement as well as need-based financial assistance through completion of the FAFSA.

Processing fees: The application fee is $70.

All majors open to Marines? Yes.

Recognize AA degree or any college course work: We will evaluate any college course work completed for potential transferable credit.  Applicants who have graduated from high school and then completed any college courses must apply as a transfer student and are not considered as a freshman applicant.

Recognize awarding of college credits via alternative means, e.g., DANTES or CLEP: Yes, depending on scores.

Additional information: In additional to minimum test scores, freshman applicants should also rank minimally in the top 10% of their graduating class.

Transfer applicants should have at least a 3.0 college grade point average from their previous institution.
