SAT/ACT mins: We have no minimum, but on Critical Reading + Math (1600 scale) our average range 1290-1470. ACT (writing section is required) is 28-32 composite. Some slightly lower scores may be acceptable.
SAT or ACT Scores must not be more than: No requirement here, though we do require that applicants have taken the SAT with the Writing Section.

Freshmen class report date: For students starting in the fall semester, Orientation the summer previous is the report date (dates are announced after acceptance, and there are multiple orientation dates.)
For students starting in the spring semester, orientation is held shortly before classes start in mid-January. Dates will be announced after acceptance.

Will you cover difference between tuition minus GI Bill and cost of in state "state" school tuition? Or do you want to keep it to in-state residents? Generally speaking, all those who qualify for 100% of GI Bill benefits receive full or nearly full financial support. There is no difference for in-state as compared to out-of-state students.
Do you want to donate additional money to each applicant should the need arise? No.
Processing fees: $70 application fee.
All majors open to Marines? Yes.
Recognize AA degree or any college course work: Yes, depending on the program of study. Most STEM coursework is accepted.
Recognize awarding of college credits via alternative means, e.g., DANTES or CLEP: We do not offer credit for programs such as DANTES or CLEP. The only alternative means to receive credits is AP or IB placement (details at http://www.rpi.edu/dept/admissions/freshman/advanced.html.)
Additional information: All applicants must have biology, chemistry, physics, and precalculus as prerequisites.
