Will you cover difference between tuition minus GI Bill and cost of in state "state" school tuition? Or do you want to keep it to in-state residents? California residents or Marines planning to reside in California after leaving the service. Examples: (1) A Marine from Arkansas who is stationed in North Carolina and wants to move to California to enroll in a CSU campus: that Marine (exiting from North Carolina) would be required to pay the out of state fees draft for a period of one year (until residency is established). (2) A Marine from Arkansas who exits the Corps from Camp Pendleton: The residency requirement for this Marine is waived for one year (he or she is considered to be a California resident for the purposes of applying campus fees).
Do you want to donate additional money to each applicant should the need arise? No.
Processing fees: $55.00.
All majors open to Marines? Yes, although some may require higher SAT/ACT scores.
Nursing Students: Due to the impaction of the major, nursing majors will not be admitted for the spring semester.
Selects, who are pre-nursing majors, for the fall semester are guaranteed admission to CSUSM, but NOT INTO THE MAJOR. Prior to orientation or advising, the individual will have the option to:
- Change majors, or
- Maintain the pre-nursing major but be required to attend the next group advising session in the School of Nursing
