Examples: (1) A Marine from Arkansas who is stationed in North Carolina and wants to move to California to enroll in a CSU campus: that Marine (exiting from North Carolina) would be required to pay the out of state fees draft for a period of one year (until residency is established). (2) A Marine from Arkansas who exits the Corps from Camp Pendleton: The residency requirement for this Marine is waived for one year (he or she is considered to be a California resident for the purposes of applying campus fees).
