SAT/ACT mins: SAT/ACT minimums depend upon the high school GPA. BGSU seeks students with at least a 2.500 high school GPA and 20 ACT/920 SAT (Critical Reasoning and Mathematics). The higher the GPA, the less importance placed upon the SAT/ACT results.
SAT or ACT Scores must not be more than: SAT/ACT scores are not required for students who have been out of high school three or more years, or for students who have attempted 12 or more credit hours at an accredited college or university.

Spring – New Student Orientation begins beginning of January.
Yellow Ribbon participant: No, BGSU is a state university. The state of Ohio has a program called the Ohio GI Promise. This program provides “in-state” tuition to qualified student veterans attending state Institutions.
Will you cover difference between tuition minus GI Bill and cost of in state "state" school tuition? Or do you want to keep it to in-state residents? BGSU will charge “in-state” tuition to all qualified veterans receiving VA Educational Benefits.

Processing fees: No application fee for active duty military personnel and veterans.
All majors open to Marines? Yes. Some degree programs have additional admissions requirements that students must meet to be admitted into the major.
Recognize AA degree or any college course work: Yes, degrees and course work from regionally accredited colleges or universities will be evaluated for transfer credit.
