LSP Application deadline: Students seeking admission for the fall semester should have applications submitted no later than July 1; November 1 for the spring semester and April 1 for the summer semester.

Freshmen class report date: Classes begin approximately the third week of August for fall, second-third week of January for spring, last week of May-first week of June for Summer I, and first week of July for summer II.   Please consult the Academic Calendar (www.astate.edu) for specific semester start dates.  Registration for classes will need to be done in advance of these dates.

Will you cover difference between tuition minus GI Bill and cost of in state "state" school tuition? Or do you want to keep it to in-state residents? All Participants will be considered as “in-state residents” for tuition purposes.  Participants will have to provide proof of military status to the Office of the Registrar to receive in-state tuition.

Do you want to donate additional money to each applicant should the need arise?  Applicants may apply for scholarships as applicable.

Processing fees: $15.00.

All majors open to Marines? All majors are open to participants but some majors have selective admissions standards (nursing, health professions, education, and others) which must be met after completion of prerequisite courses.  Admission to these programs is not guaranteed.

Recognize AA degree or any college course work: Degrees or courses earned at regionally accredited institutions will be recognized as transfer credit.  Military credit will be evaluated and credit awarded as appropriate.   AA/AS degrees earned out of state may not satisfy all required general education requirements.

Recognize awarding of college credits via alternative means, e.g., DANTES or CLEP: DANTES, CLEP credit is accepted.

Additional information: Official transcripts are required from all institutions attended prior to enrollment.
